circuit bending

circuit bending을 하기 위해 장난감을 여러개 샀었는데 대부분은 고장이 나버렸고 마지막으로 한 것 역시 결국 고장이 났지만 그 전에 소리를 녹음해두었다. 비록 녹음된 소리이지만 ableton을 가지고 실시간으로 이펙터를 조작했고 그 영상이 다음과 같다.(차후에 올릴 예정)장소는 데이빗 홀 선생님 집 주차장.

I bought several toys and dismantled them.
But they were all broken so soon, so this is the last one that I bent successfully. I recorded the sound and performed with it in the parking lot.

사운드를 시각화하는 프로젝트 때문에 위의 녹음된 파일의 웨이브 파형을 캡쳐하였다. 처음엔 Fraps라는 프로그램으로 하려고 했지만 실패했고 그냥 Camtasia라는 프로그램을 이용했다.For the project "The Shape of Sound", I captured the sound wave from WMP.
